Too many work need to be done this past week..
Now I know I am a college student.. hehehehe...
I've never experience this pressure and excitement before..
Thesis, Thesis, Thesis... hhahaha... I'm excited to see the final system but Im afraid to work on it..
I am not confident that I can made the kind of system the panelist tells us to do..
But there is a lot of time for me to study.. I can make IT..

LENT
Two months ago we are so happy celebrating Christmas but now the Lenten season comes in...
Lent and Valentines for me is identical..Because it tells us one thing and that is LOVE..
for me Lent is one of the way of Jesus to greet us Happy Valentines. hehehe
If you are a catholic you will notice that the church are also going to adapt the color that is favorite of all today,.. PURPLE.. hehehe..
This is the color that you will see inside every church, particularly on the table and on the clothes of the priests.
40 days of preparation for the celebration of Easter Sunday, that is lent.
It started on ash wednesday where most people have ashes on their forehead.
It tells us one thing, "MAMATAY ka rin".. hahahha
thats the reality..
This is the season to repent.
Let us confess our sin and change our life.
like what the priest said while putting ashes on our head, "Repent, and be faithful to the gospel".
The holy week will start on palm sunday wherein we are remembering the entrance of Jesus to jerusalem.
Filipinos have habit of displaying the palm on their house. It means that Jesus is the highest authority in the house.(hopefully all Filipinos know the real meaning, not just display)
On holy thursday there will be a mass remembering the foot spa given by Jesus to his apostle(the washing of the feet. hehe)
After the mass the blessed Eucharist(im not sure) will be placed on the altar of repose where we must pray silently because we are remembering Jesus in Agony. Some people do visita iglesia( some visita merienda haha)
If you notice after the mass there will be no final blessing like the usual mass. Why? because it is a continues prayer until good friday up to the vigil going to easter sunday. The blessing will be given after the mass on easter sunday.
Some of us treats lent as a vacation season, going to beach or swimming pools, outing and many more.
Lot of us do not pay attention to the meaning of lent...
It is the season where we remember that Someone died for us.
Someone sacrifice His own life for the salvation of the sinners like us.
Someone replacing each one of us in the cross..
Jesus accept all the punishment that all of us deserve.
Jesus sacrifice His life not because of your SIN, not because of our sin.
He has done that because of His LOVE for you.
So in this season we must appreciate what He has done for us.
Repent..
and practice fasting and abstinence.
Simple sacrifice compare to what Jesus has done.
Let us be obedient to His words and love Him as HE loved us.
Go to Jesus, and for sure He will embrace you with his unfailing Love....
